Hello we are Kindling a newly formed theatre company specialising in children’s theatre.
A bit about us: we met at RADA and led a company called Burnt Out Theatre, touring Shakespeare productions to parks, houses and gardens across the UK. We are back together again, older wiser but as playful as ever, now with kids of our own.
Having been to countless shows with our children we feel there is a gap in the market for simple joyful storytelling.

Lydia Huhne

Lydia is an actor, director and theatre facilitator. She strongly believes in the power of play for well-being and has a masters in Applied Theatre from the RCSSD. She has created theatre in various settings including the NHS, Mumasuze, Synergy theatre project and One housing. Lydia has specific experience and expertise making theatre in education and children’s theatre.

Clemmie Reynolds

Clemmie Reynolds has worked as a freelance director and dramaturg for the past 15 years, most recently for Sonia Friedman Productions, Shakespeare’s Globe, Radio 4 and as Associate Director on long-running West End show ‘Witness for the Prosecution’.
